Our Mission

To provide unique volunteer, fundraising, and consulting services in support of individuals, families, and organizations in need.

Our Vision

A world where each of us regularly uses our God-given talents and resources to help others

Our Core Values

Commitment - Dedicated to the betterment of our community

Compassion - Putting empathy into action

Stewardship - Doing the right thing with the resources we are given

Service - Placing others' needs before our own

Our Services

We guide the charitable organization in the use of creative problem-solving strategies to determine the best solution to the challenges faced.  Stormcells will assist the organization by providing unique consulting services or events.  In some cases, Stormcells will pull from their large network of partners to identify or assist in the solution.

Our Advocacy Events

We partner with other charitable organizations to identify a challenge or need. In some situations, the Client may be the charitable organization, whereas, other times the Client may be an individual or a family. Need can be defined a number of ways, such as a medical issue, financial hardship, or awareness issue. In the case that a Client is also an organization, operational support/opportunities will be considered.

Stormcells will use social media and other social marketing avenues to heighten awareness around the source of the Client’s struggles. We will then organize and conduct an Advocacy Event, through which we will raise money on behalf of the Client.

Amanda received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Philosophy. She loves to analyze life and overthink everything. After having her first child, she obtained her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science in 2005. During that time, she worked through a grant funded program to create course content and facilitate a content management system for an online professional development site. In 2008, after the birth of her second child, she began working in the public library sector. She recently transitioned from her full-time role as an Assistant Director in the public library field to work on Stormcells full time.

Being the Executive Director of Stormcells, Amanda has her hand in a little bit of everything. She coordinates the daily operations of Stormcells, drives the social media marketing for several businesses, and is constantly building relationships with organizations and non-profits in the area.

As part of Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2014, Amanda has had the opportunity to meet a variety of people, learn the newest trends and opportunities in our communities, and understand the most recent challenges facing society today.
